Currituck County Youth Council is the county 4-H leadership organization for enrolled 4-H club members. Its purpose is to help 4-Hers develop leadership and team building skills, plan county level activities and fundraisers, and plan and lead community wide service projects. This is an excellent opportunity for youth ages 12-18 to gain new leadership skills, learn how to work effectively as a member of a team, and participate in service learning activities that support the well-being of our community.
The Youth Council is a 4-H Leadership Club and will meet every 6-8 weeks throughout the year. Members will rotate through officer positions, help the 4-H staff set the course of Currituck 4-H, learn how to direct a formal meeting, participate in fun educational activities and events and much much more.
