Description: Pine-hardwood forest types are common throughout much of the Southeast, but these forest types are rarelyintentionally managed by landowners and professionals. These forest types can meet a variety of landownerobjectives and can be managed in several ways on suitable sites. Intentional establishment of pine-hardwoodmixtures in the Southeast can be accomplished though even-aged and two-aged management practices. Someexamples of how to do so will be covered.
