Job Description The NC State Extension Marketing and Communications team (Extension MarComm) promotes the ongoing growth and success of Extension by helping tell our collective stories, supporting employee outreach and managing the framework for building a strong brand identity. Cultivates consistent, purpose-driven communications linked to organizational priorities across all of Extension. Provides strategic communications expertise, project consultation, marketing training and resource development services that increase the visibility and value of Extension among key stakeholders, establishing the organization as the leader in agriculture, food and nutrition, and 4-H youth development education in the state. Our team operates as a unit of CALS Communications, leveraging an integrated communications approach that incorporates digital and print storytelling, public relations, marketing, graphic design and brand management expertise. While our team is based at NC State, we often work with our colleagues at N.C. A&T State University and other valuable partners to support both our university and our N.C. Cooperative Extension partnership, while helping county and campus programs elevate their impacts.
