Calling all Space Enthusiasts ages 10-14! Is your child interested in planets, stars and the solar system? Then we have the class for you! The Mars Base Camp challenge will explore sending a mission to Mars, as well as have activities that help youth learn and develop skills in mechanical engineering, physics, agriculture and computer science. Activities include developing space rover missions, building simple rockets, designing trajectory maps and solving a real world problem. So join us at NC Cooperative Extension - Currituck Center located at 120 Community Way in Barco, NC for an afternoon of out of this world fun.

Registration is not complete until you register your child in the 4-H online system. The link to do that is: https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in .

Cash and check payments will be accepted in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NC State University. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck County office, 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration.

Currently, in-person classes require masks to be worn for the duration of the class without exception. If you arrive without a mask one will be provided for you. We ask all participants to maintain six feet of distance while on the premises. We are following the current North Carolina mandates.
