The following counties have internship opportunities for summer 2022:
NC State University: Main Campus (ASSURE)
NC State University: Main Campus (SOCIAL)
*NOTE: Interns selected for counties marked with an asterisk (*) might also be in the NC State University Rural Works! Program. Interns in these counties would complete 8 hours of community service to gain a better understanding of the county’s needs, history, and culture. Interns would also receive professional development coaching and support from the Rural Works! Coordinator during their internship experience. Rural Works! was created by a partnership between the Division of Academic and Student Affairs, the Office of Outreach and Engagement, and NC State Cooperative Extension. It is an important initiative to link NC State students to career opportunities in our state’s Tier I and Tier II counties.
