Job Description In this position, youth development through poultry science based programs is provided for children 5-18 years of age. Current programs include 4-H Embryology, 4-H Poultry Judging, 4-H Avian Bowl, 4-H Poultry Presentations, the Poultry Pack 4-H Club, leading teams to attend the National 4-H Poultry & Egg Conference, the Youth Market Turkey Show, and Poultry Science Summer Institute. The goal of this program is to engage and teach the dynamic field of poultry science to youth whether at the backyard or intergrator level of production. Please reach out with ideas on how to better serve our youth citizens of North Carolina through poultry focused youth development programs.
