Job Description Dr. Silva holds an extension and research appointment with the Department of Animal Science and is stationed on the main campus in Raleigh. He is interested in beef cattle production in grazing systems mostly focusing on reproductive physiology. Felipe’s extension program aims to provide support to beef producers and extension personnel in the state of North Carolina regarding reproductive management. His research efforts are targeted to improve reproductive efficiency and profitability in cow-calf operations.
