Job Description Dr. Harmon has a split appointment of 75% Extension and 25% Research and is housed in Western North Carolina at the Mountain Research Station. As the Livestock Extension Specialist, Dr. Harmon's programs focus on management strategies for pasture-based livestock systems. Her research and extension programs stress forage management and utilization as well as targeted supplementation programs that promote health and value-added marketing options. Dr. Harmon's research is tailored to address current needs and issues in grazing animal agriculture.
