Amanda Bremseth

EFNEP: the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program is the oldest USDA nutrition program in the United States, established in 1968-69. Each county in each state that has a land-grant university has an EFNEP educator on staff. Amanda has served as the EFNEP Nutrition Educator for Buncombe County since October 2021. She offers a nutrition class series for all school-aged youth, young adults and adults with children in the home. The USDA/NIFA curricula she uses are written for families who are seeking guidance for how to best budget for both health and savings.
