Through the Community Food Strategies initiative, CEFS and its partners are working with communities and local governments to strengthen community-based food systems through development​ ​of food councils - collaborative networks of cross sector stakeholders invested in long-term food systems change at a community level. Community Food Strategies offers tools, resources, and training to support ​council coordination and align local and regional networks with statewide vision and priorities.
