
Education for Landowners
North Carolina State University Extension Forestry and partners offer workshops, field days, short courses, and other programs that provide educational opportunities for those interested in learning about forestry and forest management. All of these programs are open to the general public.
Other Upcoming Events Woodland Steward Series: Managing Your Legacy Sessions include both hands-on activities in the field and instruction in the classroom. Introductory information on a wide variety of land management topics will be discussed. Sessions will be held in all three sections of North Carolina (piedmont: spring, mountains: summer, coastal: fall).
