Cost: $65 (includes first year membership to Hoke County Beekeepers and to NC State Beekeepers Association, and supplies.) Additional family members are $35 without books.

Additional Information: 22-hour course of classroom instruction, and 9+ hours Hands On in the Hive. You will receive the Beginning Beekeepers Book from Penn State University and a Field Guide.
Class on Mondays will begin promptly at 7 pm. On the first evening, January 25, please come early, 6:15 pm, to register and pay for classes, receive your syllabus and books; then get acquainted with our members. Our class will begin at 7:00. We generally have several members present every class so any questions you have they will be happy to answer.

Hands On in the Hive
Sat., March 5, 11 am -2 pm,
Sat. March 12, 10 am-1 pm and
Sat. March 26, 10 am - 1 pm
Please make plans accordingly to attend. Each New beekeeper will have a mentor to help. Working in the bee yard will help the beginner beekeeper learn about handling and working with bees before getting their own hives.
