Description: The 2020 NATGA Annual Conference is quickly approaching. The Executive Committee is excited about the program and the traditional truffle banquet on Saturday night. We have added a ‘Truffles 101’ program for those considering an orchard, a Soil Testing workshop, and an ‘Ask the Expert’ question and answer forum which will no doubt be lively and interesting.

Please review the items below in preparation for the event:

Registration:
Registration can be completed online on the Eventbrite Page. You may also send registration and payment to Diana Hudson, Treasurer at P.O. Box 660, Purcellville, VA 20134.
Payment and registration questions can be directed to Diana at diana@thegoodtruffle.com.

Hotel:
NATGA has a discounted, group rate with Hilton DoubleTree Downtown Charlotte. You may make a reservation for a discounted room here. Alternatively, you may call Hilton directly at (704) 347-0070. Be sure to mention our group for the reduced rate. The reduced rate cut off date is January 25th.

Auction:
This year, we have added a silent auction to raise funds for truffle research. Please consider donating items for this very worthy initiative. Items might include, but is certainly not limited to:  truffles, books, wine, art, vacation rentals, gift cards, specialty foods, concert or theatre tickets, clothing, dog training supplies, and other suitable items.

Soil Workshop:
This workshop is designed to be hands-on. Please bring a soil report taken from your farm or orchard. Testing supplies will be provided, and a few soil test kits to take home will be available for purchase.

Membership Renewal:
NATGA memberships runs on the calendar year. Renewals are now due, and members enjoy a substantial reduction in the conference registration fee. Membership is for each farm or entity, and employees and/or family members can enjoy the benefits of a single farm membership.

And finally, please forward the conference notice to your customers, friends, and family that may find this gathering of interest. We don’t want to miss anyone that would like to join us.
