Youth will have the opportunity to enjoy Tie- Dye on pillow cases and cupcakes. This workshop will be held on July 15, 2021 from 9am-12pm for youth ages 6-9. This event will provide hands on baking experience in the kitchen and explore trends in food, fashion and decoration. Youth will be making Tie-Dye Cupcakes, Pillowcases and Masks. Workshop material will be provided.
If time permits you are more than welcome to bring another item to Tie-Dye, Just make sure it is 100% cotton. Please remember this class can be a little messy so dress appropriately. This class will take place at the NC Cooperative Extension, Currituck Center located at 120 Community Way in Barco, NC.
Once you have completed the Eventbrite registration please visit this link https://v2.4honline.com and complete the 4-H online enrollment. This will register your child in 4-H for the year and is required for participation in all 4-H events and activities. You will only need to complete this process once each year.
We also accept cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NC State University. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck County office, 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration.
Currently, in-person classes require masks to be worn for the duration of the class without exception. If you arrive without a mask one will be provided for you. We ask all participants to maintain six feet of distance while on the premises. We are following the current North Carolina mandates.
