Description:

Join us as we travel to Corolla and experience the Historic Corolla Park which includes the Whalehead Club, Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and of course, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.

We will meet at NC Cooperative Extension - Currituck Center at 120 Community Way in Barco, and depart at 9 am. We will travel to Corolla and explore and experience the park. Be sure to pack a lunch and we will have our lunch at the park. We plan to return to NC Cooperative Extension by 2:30 pm.

This program is for youth ages 12 to 18.

After you complete your eventbrite registration, you will need to register your youth through the 4-H Online site. Here is that link: https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in. It is easy and only takes a few minutes. Please call us and we will guide you through it if you have any problems.

We also accept cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NC State University. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck County office, 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration.

Currently, in-person classes require masks to be worn for the duration of the class without exception. If you arrive without a mask one will be provided for you. We ask all participants to maintain six feet of distance while on the premises. We are following the current North Carolina mandates.
