This series of 6 classes focuses on health of Caregivers for chronically ill or elderly.
Continued stress can affect the Caregivers health negatively. A few topics addressed are stress reduction techniques, nutrition, communication, anger management, & family meetings. This series is in collaboration with Durham Center for Senior Life.
Color Me Healthy is a nutrition and physical activity program for children ages four and five. It is designed to stimulate all the senses of young children: touch, smell, sight, sound and of course, taste. The North Central District Teen Retreat will be held for 4-H youth ages 13-18 March 22-23 at Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Center in Reidsville. Cost to attend is $90/child. The theme is "Let 4-H Be Your Music". All meals and housing are included.
While at this conference, students will participate in a service project, attend workshops, and network with other teen 4-H members from around the district.
Students will depart Orange County Cooperative Extension at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, March 22 and return to Hillsborough by 4:30 P.M. on Saturday, March 23.
