On May 21st starting at 1:00 p.m., the NC Cooperative Extension Service will be partnering with NC Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Section to offer Pesticide Applicator Exams in the downstairs conference room at the Extension office. Both Private and Commercial Pesticide License exams will be offered. Private Applicators are those who intend to use Restricted Use Pesticides on their own farm or property. Commercial Applicators are those who purchase and apply any pesticides for hire or compensation. If you have any questions and to preregister, please call the Cherokee County Extension Office at 828-837-2210 by May 15th.
