Southern Giant / Mustard Greens

Southern Giant

  • Brassica juncea
  • Bright green to medium green leaves
  • Curly leaf margins
  • Medium growth habit, excellent in mass in the landscape
  • Suggested PGRs: Do not apply if sold as an edible crop; PGRs are not required because plants are marketable 2 to 3 weeks after planting; wholesale growers may want to apply a Sumagic foliar spray at 5 to 8 ppm or a B-Nine foliar spray at 2500 ppm (2 to 3 weeks after potting)
  • Suggested fertility: 150 to 200 ppm N CLF
