Pruning

Many people are afraid when it comes to pruning. They are not sure when to prune or how to begin. It’s not that hard, you just have to get started!

Join Horticulture Extension Agent, Debbie Dillion, to learn about tools, timing, and proper techniques for pruning ornamentals as well as small and tree fruit. This class will be followed up with a free hands-on pruning workshop on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 9 a.m. at the Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers of Union County Teaching Garden, 3230 Presson Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.

Two identical sessions of this  class are available to fit your schedule:

Tuesday           February 23, 2021   |   6–8 p.m. |   REGISTER
Wednesday     February 24, 2021   |  10 a.m.–noon   |    REGISTER

Each class costs $8 per person or if you sign up for all 7 classes, cost is $40. Registration and fee is required by February 16, 2021. Select a date and click on the REGISTER link above. Payment must be made at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Union County, 3230 Presson Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.

All classes will be held virtually using Zoom. Once you are registered the Zoom link will be sent to you on Monday prior to the class.
