Collapse ▲N.C. Cooperative Extension will be hosting five listening sessions around the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative for our Extension employees and community. Key partners are encouraged to attend as well, such as commodity group leaders, agribusinesses, farmers and other agricultural stakeholders.
The objective of these initial listening sessions will be to provide a brief overview of the vision and progress related to the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative, and to explore opportunities and the essential role that Extension will play in this game-changing effort.
We want to hear ideas and feedback from our Extension agents and university stakeholders. Our main goal is to have a dialogue about how we can best address challenges and take advantage of new opportunities – integrating research, extension and academic programs through NC State University. Please share these dates and locations within your network, and we look forward to seeing you at one of the sessions.
