Perennials
Iris
You have found a slug. Slug damage on foliage usually
appears between the veins and on leaf margins. A silvery slime
trail is left behind. Slugs fed at night especially in warm,
humid weather. Control by elimating breeding and hiding places.
Traps and slug baits can also be used.
