| Zones 7 to 9. Prized vine for its spectacular display of bright yellow flowers twice a year; spring and fall; not fragrant. Great on trellis, arbor or over fences and walls. Native to southeast U.S. swamps from NC to FL. DR. J.C. Raulston at NC State helped popularize. Evergreen to semi-evergreen. Full to partial sun. Fast-growing stems to 10 to 20 feet. All parts poisonous. | |
