Ovate, bright green pubescent leaves, may outgrow flowers under high fertility. Flowers 1 to 2" across, true yellow, spring till frost, lightly covering the mounded and rounded plant. Can grow to 3' in height with near equal spread. Pests-none serious (whitefly observed). Deadheading not needed. Re establishes from self seeding, can be invasive. Good substitute for marigolds. Good for background or massing in beds and borders. Also good for pots and baskets. Moderate to high drought tolerance. 'Derby', 'Million Gold', 'Showstar'.
