• DOLLAR DECISION$. …..a practical approach to teach tracking expenses and making ends meet. The purpose of this curriculum is to teach low-and moderate-income individuals and families how to track expenses and make ends meet. The curriculum is adaptable. It may be taught in as little as 30 minutes, in one 1-hour workshop, or in two 1- hour workshops.
• Youth Financial Literacy Programs: are designed to assist young people in learning how to make sound decisions related to spending and saving money. They will learn about their strengths and limitation, identify areas needing improvement relating to money and personal finance. Programs that address these issues are as follows:
  1. Money Fun-damentals a youth guide for learning about money

• NC Saves: It is a national campaign to encourage assist and Americans to save and build wealth. Numerous publication on money management is available from the extension office.

4. Taking Care of You: Powerful Tools for Care giving: is designed to provide caregivers with the “tools” to increase their self-care and their confidence to handle difficult situations, emotions, and decisions. These tools will help caregivers to: reduce personal stress, communicate effectively with family members, and practice self -care. The program is conducted in 21/2-hour sessions, once a week, over a six-week period. It is taught in conjunction with an AARP volunteer.
