Caring for You, Caring for Me is an educational and support program designed to bring professional and family caregivers together to gain a better understanding of each other’s perspectives and to help them with their caregiving tasks. Topics covered in this ten-hour workshop program include: What it means to be a caregiver; taking care of yourself; building cooperative relationships; preventing and solving problems; and accessing and developing resources. The Leader’s Guide contains informational content for the topics, layouts for overhead transparencies and suggested group activities. The companion Participant’s Manual is a workbook for class activities, contains an annotated reading list and provides addresses and phone numbers of national organizations to help caregivers.
