• NC Specialty Crops Program
• Alternative Enterprises- This program provides Extension educational resources to small-scale producers about the selection of and development of alternative enterprises. These enterprises are primarily horticultural but also include as well livestock, nursery and aquaculture.
• Dark Side of the Sun- providing farmers and farm workers information on the risks of skin cancer and other skin diseases caused by prolonged exposure to the sun.
• Environmental Intervention Program for Small-Scale and Limited-Resource Farmers in North Carolina- focusing on the development and implementation of environmental intervention programs for the state's small-scale farmers.
• Farm Management (for successful direct marketing)- This program provides educational resources to improve farm business management skills so that limited resource, small and part-time farmers can increase their income from direct marketing.
• Farm Safety and Energy Conservation Program- This program prepares farmers, ranchers and their families with training and information to combat diverse hazards associated with farm machinery, chemicals, livestock and bad weather.
• Farmers Adopting Computer Training (FACT) Project- The project is designed to train farm families one-on-one or in group settings how to use computers for their farming operations in order to become more competitive in the market place.
• Small-Scale Production of Horticulture, Flowers and Fruits- This program provides Extension educational resources to small-scale producers about production practices to improve small-scale production of horticultural vegetables, flowers and fruit.
• Successful Small Farming
- Direct Marketing - This program offers educational resources through the North Carolina Cooperative Extension system to improve the direct marketing skills of limited-resource farmers.
• Sustainable Agriculture- This program prepares Extension faculty and other agricultural educators in the principles and practices of sustainable agriculture.
• Carolina Farm Stewardship Association- Carolina Farm Stewardship's mission is to support and expand local and organic agriculture in the Carolinas by inspiring, educating and organizing farmers and consumers.
