OPENING, SATURDAY, May 4, 2013 ( 8-1 PM)
Come visit the Elaney Wood Heritage Farmers Market.  Market is open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The new  location of the market is 470 Hwy 13 South, adjacent to the Greene County Recreation Park, Snow Hill, NC. We welcome all  produce, artisans and crafts vendors to sell at the market withing a 50 mile radius of Greene County. Spring produce available will be spring onions, scallions, new red potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, english peas, beets, collards and handcrafted jewelry, furniture and artworks.

Locally made, locally grown.” That’s the focus behind the Elaney Wood Heritage Farmers Market and what our customers come out on Saturday mornings looking for.

“Locally made, locally grown” is also the simple standard for what can be sold at the market. If you grow or raise something or bake it or make it — here in Greene County — you are welcome to sell it at the Elaney Wood Heritage Farmers Market.

As you will see, the basic spirit of the market is to buy local, eat local and shop local.  We continue to welcome new vendors to our market, and hope that the following proves helpful in learning how to become part of the Elaney Wood Heritage Farmers Market.
