A steering committee of the Greene County Farmers’ Market — Nicole Sanchez, Misty Chase, Shenile Ford, Roy Thagard, Sharon Ginn, Mary Betty Kearney and Chris Roberson — has drawn up some guidelines of operating procedures as the market attracts more vendors and customers. As you will see, the basic spirit of the market is to buy local, eat local and shop local.
