Losing weight is at the top of the list of popular New Years resolutions.
As you consider your weight management plan, stay away from fad diets
that promise quick solutions. Weight loss from fad diets usually is only
temporary and some of the recommendations may be unsafe. Instead of resorting to unhealthy fad diets or to spending your money
on gimmicks that only offer false hope and failure, listen to the experts.
Stop the yo-yo effect of frequent weight loss and weight gain and begin
to develop physical activity and healthy eating habits that contribute
to a healthy lifestyle. Nourish yourself with regular, moderate levels of balanced foods including
grains, fruits, vegetables, meat and alternatives, and milk. And be active
