Pesticides and Human Health

Extension programs address human health and safety for pesticide applicators, agricultural workers, and their families. Training workshops and seminars are generally provided to over 400 individuals participating in county-organized pesticide training classes each year. Publications on pesticides and human health are available in Spanish and English to provide health and safety information to migrant and seasonal workers, growers, agricultural agents, and health care providers.
