The North Carolina Extension Master Gardener℠ program is an educational program designed to enhance public education in consumer horticulture. Extension Master Gardenersm volunteers work under the guidance of North Carolina Cooperative Extension agents. Trained Extension Master Gardener volunteers provide educational assistance to the citizens of the county concerning lawns, fruits, vegetables, trees, and ornamentals.
