Please plan to arrive by 10:00a and find the location (room) to sign up for presentations. Registration/Check In/Meal Tickets and additional Maps/Room Assignments will be in the Lobby of Raper Hall.
Maps are attached here: Campus map, Henderson Hall (Floors 1 & 2), Raper Hall First Floor map, Raper Hall Second Floor map.
Presentations will begin at 10:30a and take place in Raper Hall and Henderson Hall.
It is HIGHLY recommended to bring your own lunch if staying the whole day because the Mount Olive Pickle Festival is happening at the same time and Mount Olive will be full of people.
There is plenty of parking around Raper and Henderson Halls. Please do not park on the street. Park in a lot and try to stay away from Kornegay arena – they use it for a park and ride lot for the Pickle Festival.
We will have access to computers, projectors, and screens in all rooms. Youth will need to put their information on a flash drive when possible. If this is not possible, they will need to bring their own laptop and projector. The login for the computer in each room and the wireless on campus is MOCGuest and the password is numbers4:4
Outdoor Cookery will be located right outside Raper Hall. There will be some pop-up tents in case the weather is not cooperative, but cookers are welcome to bring their own just in case there aren’t enough for everyone. There will be a metal container for hot ashes to be placed in after cooking, and a water source available.
There will be a gravel lot beside Raper Hall blocked off for the Outdoor Cookery people to unload and park in.
4-H Entertains: will be in the Southern Bank Auditorium adjacent to Raper Hall. The stage is approximately 15ft. X24ft.
Also, for any talent acts that have music to be played, MOC has requested to have that ahead of the April 27th date as a mp3 if at all possible. They would like to make sure that the media works with their system and had concerns about CD’s that are not original. They did say they have the capability to hook ipads, ipods directly to their sound system. Please e-mail those to Lori McBryde at: lori_mcbryde@ncsu.edu.
The Awards Assembly will begin at 1:45p at the Southern Bank Auditorium and usually lasts until about 3p.
If you still have not tuned in your 4-H Entertains Forms, please do so by as soon as you can. Those need to be to be reviewed in time to make sure all needs can be accommodated at MOC.
Good luck!
