a new publications on its web site:
The Health of North Carolinians: A Profile
The main objective of this report is to help policy makers, health,
community, and business leaders identify trends in death, illness, and
injury, as well as the factors that may lead to these events. In a
rapidly changing health care environment, this information should
facilitate the targeting of health programs to improve the health status
of North Carolinians.

The County Health Data Book provides communities with quantitative data
to support community health assessments. It includes a wide range of
health-related county and state data related to Population,
