Start a
4-H Club |
Are you interested in forming a new 4-H Club? Here's a perfect
opportunity for you to receive all the needed information to form
a 4-H Club. 4-H is a program for youth ages 5-19.
The basic necessary ingredients to forming a new 4-H Club
are:
- Has a membership of at least five (roster submitted to 4-H
office).
- Meet at least once per month over a nine month period, in a
safe location. (Sample of the meeting
format)
for 4-H meetings
- Identify a volunteer pool of parents, community adults,
and/or youth, with completed and approved volunteer application.
- Establish a youth leadership structure that is
developmentally appropriate.
- Prepare a club calendar that outlines quality learning
experiences and social activities that are developmentally
appropriate for its members.
- Follows appropriate affirmative action guidelines.
