JANUARY 4-H COUNTY COUNCIL AND PAL'S MEETING

Mark your calendars for the Monday, January 27, 4-H County Council and PAL's meeting.  We will start at 6:30 p.m. with a Vegetable Soup dinner with the meeting to follow at 7:00 p.m. 

We have a lot to cover on the agenda, including 2003 officer elections, the new Rowan County 4-H Talent Fair, 4-H Gift Wrap, and more.  Please call your 4-H leader if you plan to attend so we can have an accurate count for the dinner by January 21.

ROWAN COUNTY 4-H SPECIAL AWARDS


There are FIVE Rowan County 4-H special awards you can apply for.  A 4-H member may receive a specific award only once.  Applications are enclosed in this newsletter and are also available on the 4-H website.   All applications MUST be received in the
4-H Office by Friday, February 7, 2003.  You may submit your application for:
4-H Rowan County 4-H Spirit Award - for a 4-H'er with less than 1 year in 4-H.
4-H Junior Boy/Girl of the Year - for a male and female 4-H'er ages 9-12.
4-H Senior Boy/Girl of the Year - for a male and female 4-H'er ages 13-18.
