Weed and Disease Mapping

During one of the last visits to the field, a disease and weed map should be drawn. Use an Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service map (if available) or simply draw an outline of the field. Mark areas affected by diseases or insects on the map. Be sure to note on the map the weed or disease and infestation level found in each marked area. Do not try to identify each specific spot observed. Rather, mark general areas of the field in which diseases or weeds were found. This map will help in planning the next crop.
