Code of Professional Development

Faculty & Staff of Personal and Organizational Development (POD) are committed to the growth and development of NCCE employees and volunteers. Through your personal and career development we build the capacity of NCCE to better serve its customers.
  1. Information describing the knowledge and skills of an employee obtained through the use of POD assessments will become a part of the employee's learning plan and will be considered confidential between the employee and POD faculty. *

  2. Communication between employees, POD faculty, and members of the individual's personal development team will be viewed as confidential. *

  3. The employee is responsible for choosing his or her personal development team using the guidelines of team composition set forth by POD.

  4. The employee can expect the NCCE to provide support within available resources for personal development activities described in his or her personal development plan.

  5. The employee is primarily responsible for his or her own growth and development, but is encouraged to seek the advice and counsel of colleagues, supervisors and mentors.
