RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide training and leadership to county agents in the Tidewater region of North Carolina.
  • Develop extension and research programs related to soil fertility issues.
  • Nitrogen management in corn and wheat for the Blacklands.
  • Soil fertility and precision agriculture: soil sampling, yield variablity and soil type.
  • Lime and tillage management for Blacklands cotton.
  • Soil fertility training.
