This field tour will present the requirements for the installation of a water tight septic tank and pump tank. The program will include a trip to a tank manufacturer to observe the construction of a septic tank. The classroom discussion will present the local health department inspection of the septic tank manufacturer and the site individual inspection of the installation of the septic tanks and pump tanks. This will also include the installation of controls for the effluent pumping system.
