Areas of Extension/Research:
I have a 70% extension and 30% research appointment with responsibilities for small fruit crops in all regions of North Carolina. My extension activities focus primarily on brambles (blackberries and raspberries) and strawberries. Research projects cover aspects of culture pest management, and physiological ecology of strawberries, brambles and blueberries.

I am also an active participant in the Southern Regional Smal Fruit Consortium. Check it out for information on small fruits.
