Summer Fun Workshops Summer 2004

The Person County 4-H Program had 9 different Summer Fun workshops. The Person County 4-H Program held weekly workshops in a variety of project areas during the summer. There were a total of nine activities offered. We had some outdoor adventures at a local dairy and a horse farm. We learned about the Japanese culture, visited Mayo Park, and learned about our environment. We had an electrifying experience at the Progress Energy plant and for all those youth that enjoy hunting and learning how to shoot safely and correctly, we had a hunter certificatio workshop.    There was only a small fee for some of the workshops and others were free of charge.
