Electric Congress
July 11-13, 2005 |

 The 58th Annual Electric Congress took place at Western Carolina. On July 11-13, 4-H'ers from all across North Carolina got together and represented their county at this conference. The Person County 4-H Program did not send any youth this year, but several 4-H'ers have begun their projects for next year. This is a annual event lasting three days, where the kids enjoy electric workshops, meet their Electric Company Representatives, attend an awards banquet, and have a fun day at a local entertainment sight. In order to be eligible to attend this all expense paid trip, youth must complete an electric project or help recruit a certain number of youth into the electric project area. | ||
