Pender County Animal Response Team

What is County Animal Response Team (CART)?

The Pender County Animal Response Team is intended for use by local government to minimize animal suffering in the event of a large scale emergency. This action will be aimed at all animals that may need help, whether such animals are owned, stray, domestic or wild. Under these circumstances, CART will provide immediate action to provide care for animals affected. CART is developed in each county, as a result of the State Animal Response Team (SART). If you want to learn more about SART, check out the SART website.
