Constructed Wetlands
Project (23)

Pickerel weed is closely related to water hyacinth. Leaf shape and flower stalk are two key differences. Pickerel weed is also much less likely to get out of control. Unlike the floating hyacinth, pickerelweed is rooted in place. Bees and yellow sulfur butterflies are among the insects attracted to the plant.
