Constructed Wetlands
Project (12)

The swine buildings are at a lower elevation than the wetlands and holding pond; therefore, a method for getting the flush water from the buildings to the treatment area was needed. The solution was to place a lift station (e.g., a tank with a pump) at the end of each building. The photo shows one of the tanks during installation. A completed tank can be seen in the background.
