Onslow County Constructed Wetlands Project (11)

The grading and packing equipment went over the clay many times during construction of the pond, so as to pack the material well. In case the wetland project failed (certainly not!) or the pond needed to revert to a swine waste lagoon, efforts were made to ensure that the liner impermeability would meet standard requirements.
