This operation installed a solid-separator to remove swine waste solids
prior to entering the lagoon. Once separated, the solids can go for
a variety of other uses, depending on the needs of the farmer:
composting, fermentation, vermiculture, etc. This is one of the 11
projects funded by the NC legislature.
