Photo #3: Buffer strip failure

Subsurface flow of runoff water caused this buffer to fail. Subsurface drainage, regrading, and reseeding restored the failed sections. The farmer was assisted through Agricultural Cost-Share from his local Soil & Water Conservation District agent.
