Dr. Larry G. Jahn |

Professor and Extension Specialist: B.S. Pennsylvania State University Background: Larry G. Jahn graduated with a B.S. (1972) in Wood Science and an M.B.A. (1974) in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University. He obtained his Ph.D. (1996) in Higher Education Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Upon completion of his B.S. he worked as a Production Management Supervisor for Koppers Company. He joined Pullman Swindell in 1974 where he worked as a Contract Analyst. In August, 1976 he started his career with the Department of Wood and Paper Science at North Carolina State University. He is presently a Professor and Department Extension Leader. He is a member of Epsilon Sigma Phi, Xi Sigma Pi, Phi Kappa Phi, the Forest Products Society, the North Carolina Association of Cooperative Extension Specialists, the North Carolina Forestry Association, the North Carolina Recycling Association, and the Society of Wood Science and Technology.
