Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers and other educators working with students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. |

PLT uses the forest and trees as "windows" into natural and built environments, helping people gain an awareness and knowledge of the world around them and their place within it. |

PLT is a source of interdisciplinary instructional activities and provides workshops and in-service programs for teachers, environmental educators, and youth leaders. |

PLT prepares students to make informed decisions management practices and resource use by stressing how to think about the environment, not what to think. |
