Renee Strnad, Project Learning Tree Coordinator from NC State University will host this workshop which will give urban forestry professionals and educators the opportunity to come together and interact as they learn educational strategies to educate a variety of audiences about our urban forests, trees, and other issues affecting communities. Project Learning Tree® (PLT) is an interdisciplinary environmental education program designed for resource professionals, educators, and youth leaders of ANY background. The workshop registration fee is $15 and includes lunch and the UNC Greensboro Campus Tour in the afternoon. Participation is limited to 40 attendees.
